the cartoons of this rainy morning fall away without no warning

i wear a sweater when it's snowing, but it's too big, and i've stopped growing
but now it's summer and it's not showing, now it's summer and it's not showing showing
they say i should mind all my p's and q's , but that's not advice i'll ever use
the summer sky, the pinks and blues, the summer sky – pinks and blues
and in my closet there hangs my sweater, if it wasn't so big, i'd like it better
